Blow it in their Faces

I am highly pissed off, mainly for the past week or so. My city, the latest among many, has passed a no smoking law in local establishments. I have been a smoker for 16 years, and maybe it is not something to be proud of, but it is my right to smoke. Isn't this the country where freedom rings and the people actually have rights? It sure does not seem like that anymore. Every day the local, state or national government is taking away another one of our rights that we have had for so long.

First off, the non smokers have the choice whether they want to frequent or visit an establishment that allows smoking. Not all places do either, so why do they not go to a non smoking establishment? Anyway, they have that choice, and if they choose to go then they should tolerate the smoke whether they like it or not. We smokers sometimes choose to eat at a restaurant that is no smoking, and you do not here us crying about it. We accept it and live with it. Why can't these non smokers do the same or go somewhere else is my question?

I am pretty sure the first bar ever in this world was packed to the brim with smokers. Drinking and smoking almost go hand in hand. Smokers will back me up on this claim, as I notice we all smoke more when at a bar and drinking. What are they going to take away next from bars, talking and drinking? That will be next, just watch. Then we will all just have to sit there and look at each other. Sounds like fun huh?

Anyway, like I said, we do not bitch about any smoking establishments because we understand we have the right to go somewhere else if we choose. I think us smokers are a reasonable bunch unlike these communist-like non smokers. I am willing to give up my smoking rights at a restaurant, if I can smoke at bars I frequent. Why are the non smokers not willing to negotiate?

Also, on the shit end of this deal is the bars that are affected by this law. A lot of their patrons are smokers, and though it may not kill the business all together, they will lose some customers from this law. Plus, these are private owned businesses, shouldn't they have the right to decide what is allowed and not allowed in their own business? You would think that would be a right of theirs, but obviously we are losing rights right and left.

I had a non smoker argue that if we let the businesses allow anything they wanted inside, then someone would bitch that they want to smoke weed or something else inside. Well first off, this is dumb. Weed is illegal and cigarettes are not. Do you see the retardation in the minds of these non smokers? Their arguments are shit, and they only try to get these laws passed to convenience them. What about our convenience?

I do not understand why people cannot just let other people be themselves and do what they wish to do. Why do they have to choose what we can and cannot do? Who the fuck are they? They are these baby boomers who got their way their whole lives, and think they have the right to determine what is best for ALL of us.

Well, I determine what’s best for me. If I decide tomorrow I want to cut off my leg from the knee down because it aches, that's my choice. I have the right to do anything within the law. Laws that are biased need to go though. Just because non smokers outweigh the population of smokers, gives them an advantage at the voting polls. So since these right stealing, selfish bastards out vote us, we have to give up one of our rights, as well as tell the establishments what they can and cannot do.
Do you not see the bullshit and the communist-like thinking in all of this?

So, as I stand outside in the freezing weather catching a cold, the hatred builds inside of me. Fuck these non smokers, and anyone for that matter who is telling me what I can and cannot do. When a non smoker is next to me, I try to keep the smoke from him, and do not blow it near them. See, I am courteous unlike them. That has all changed now though. If I see or sit next to a non smoker, I am going to light up two or three smokes and blow it in their faces. You do not like it huh? Well, I do not like you telling me what to do, and neither do these businesses.

So here is my solution for us smokers in my city. Let us all pitch in and open our own bar right on the outskirts of town. Put it right on the city line for that matter. We are going to call it," The Black Lung". There is a cover charge, but it is not money. Before you walk in, you must smoke 3 Harley Davidson Full Flavor cigarettes before you enter to prove you are a smoker. If you are an ex smoker, we will let you slide, but picture ID of your charcoal-like lungs have to be shown to the door man for entrance inside. If a non smoker sneaks in, or makes it past our detection methods, we beat the shit out of him, shove a carton of smokes up his ass sideways, and toss him in the street. Who is with me?
