It Won't Change

I like to think I am pretty plugged in to what's going on in the world, and in this country. I may not be an expert, but I am pretty well informed. Also, as a citizen of this country, I have seen some shit in my 34 years. Let me just tell you, nothing changes.

 I read more and more about presidential approval ratings. I read about health care. I read about the wars. I read about the over spending by the government. Over and over, and round and round. Same shit, different day.

  I just think it’s time to face facts. None of this shit will ever chance. And no matter what happens, you’ll have half the country happy, the other half pissed off. It’s all one big tug of war since this country was founded, and there is still no winner. Guess what, there never will be.

  This country is run on money. All the people at the top can be bought. Shit, all the people on the bottom can be bought to. If you don’t have money, you don’t have power or say. All u get is these fucks lining their pockets, making rules, and passing legislation that they got paid to pass. Not because it works, not because it’s what they believe in. It is only because of money.

   They all want to make you believe they are working for change and that they are not like other politicians. Well, their full of shit. Now maybe there is a few that really get into politics with change in mind. But either they are one out of 500, and their voice will never be heard and their bills never passed, or they get corrupted like the rest once their pockets get lined.

It’s a no win situation. Now, I know people talk about revolution, or overthrowing governments, and yada yada yada. But does this ever work? No! You just replace a bunch of assholes with another bunch of assholes, and the cycle continues. It’s a no win situation. Unless you are the leaders, you might as well just deal with it.

I just go with the flow, live my life, and just let it be. Nothing will change. Never has and never will, and once you can handle that and see it, life becomes a little easier.

Yes, I’d like to have universal health care. I’d like a president who aunt full of shit. Yes, I’d like less taxes, etc etc. But..... I know it won’t happen, so fuck it. Crack another beer, fuck your wife, watch some sports and just enjoy your place in the sand. It’s all going to sink one day, and you might as well enjoy your personal universe. Fuck the rest of these jackasses.

My favorite line in a movie is from Natural Born Killers. As Woody Harrelson is marrying his Wife, he says, AS GOD OF MY WORLD. Well, that’s what I am; I run my world, not these crooks and douche bags. It’s the only way to live. Leaving your lives up to others who care about nothing but cash, well, good luck with that. I’ll be here watching porn!
