Why Not Represent Purple?

Well, I am leaving town for a few days, so I thought I would bless you (yes bless lol) with a couple blog posts today so you would have something to chew on while I was gone. By the way, do not let my thoughts and posts go to waste, pass this a long to your friends. Maybe give them some true enlightment on how things really are. Or they can just disagree and debate it, which is fine with me. We need some feedback here at NoHoldsBarred.

So anyway, why not represent purple? I know you are wondering what the hell that means so let me get into it.

This gang shit is getting out of hand and real old real quick. People have been dying over colors for years. Let me say that again! People have been dying over COLORS for years! Colors? Are you fucking kidding me?
Think about it this way you little G's as you call yourselves. You are in prison, locked up for life, your life in the shitter, and another inmate comes up to you and asks you, "What are you in for." What is your response? "I shot this buster because he was wearing blue." Now think about that for second and truly answer this. How retarded does that sound? Real fucking retarded!

Killing someone because he has a Cowboy jacket and you’re wearing Redskins is just plain idiotic. I would be more inclined to give you credit for shooting him because you like the Cowboys and he is a Redskin fan, and they just beat you on Sunday. Even though that is idiotic, sounds better than just because he was wearing the color red.

Also, they fight over turf. 69th street killing people from 87th or some shit like this. First off, you douche bags do not even own those streets. You might have one house on that street you live in, and I am fairly certain in those neighborhoods you are renting in the first place. You are fighting over something you do not own. Second, most of the neighborhoods that gangs come from, who the hell would want to defend them anyway? Crack houses, tore up projects, and every other shitty living condition are in these places, and you are fighting to protect that? Oh how people are so idiotic!

Everyone has beef with someone in their lives sometimes. I do not agree with the taking of lives, but at least have a better reason them because of a color. Maybe the guy fucked your girlfriend, or he stole all your money out of your house. What did these others rival gangs do to you? Their parents happened to move to 87th street and he wore a blue shirt walking to the store for cigarettes for his mom? What happened to that gang truce in like 92? All that ended up being is a publicity party and nothing really came of it. Did it stop it? No!

So why don’t you all come together and represent the purple? I came up with purple because that is what red and blue mixed produces. It’s just a metaphor for some unity. If you are going to protect your neighborhoods, do it without violence. Try working together to bring money to your hood. Clean up your hood and where you live. Make it a better place for everyone who stays around your way. Get some education and do something good for this so called block you love. Your idea of protecting it is doing nothing but bringing it down and making it worse. Grow up and be your own man instead of following some clueless so called leader who has told you the guys in red are your enemies. You don’t even know them!!!

So, I stand here and I represent the purple. The purple are the intelligent ones who get out of this bullshit and do something positive for their community and help it grow. The purple are the ones who keep these kids from the streets and the idiotic life of crime that these so called gang bangers glorify. In the end, these gang banger end up in one of two places; in jail or in a coffin. That is if you are not the next Snoop Dogg and become a rapper. But then again, even he is grown up past this shit. Just because he portrays it in this music, does not mean he is out shooting people in red. If this was the case, would he have ever done a song with Game who is a blood?? Grow up guys and take the doo rags off your heads. If you are going to represent, then represent the purple!!
